Klara Borg (born 21 July 2004) is a Swedish orienteer who competes for Södertälje-Nykvarn Orientering. She won the women’s sprint at the 2026 FISU World University Championship Orienteering in Vila Real, Portugal.[1][2]
Borg has represented Sweden at junior and university level, and her IOF ranking profile lists her as an international competitor with experience in major championship events.[3][4]
Career
Borg began making a name for herself in Swedish junior competitions. She won Swedish youth titles in sprint and long distance in 2019 and later took the Swedish junior title in night orienteering in 2022.[5][6]
In 2024, Borg won bronze in the sprint relay at the Junior World Orienteering Championships and placed seventh in the long distance at JWOC.[7]
At the 2026 FISU World University Championship Orienteering, Borg won the women’s sprint in 15:50, finishing one second ahead of France’s Cécile Calandry and 15 seconds ahead of another French athlete, Annabelle Delenne.[8] The result marked one of the biggest international victories of her career.
