Romain Pichard (born 2004) is a French orienteer who has represented France in international foot orienteering competitions, including the European Orienteering Championships, Junior World Orienteering Championships, the Orienteering World Cup, and the FISU World University Championship Orienteering.
Pichard won a gold medal in the sprint relay at the 2026 FISU World University Championship Orienteering – Sprint Relay as part of the French team with Annabelle Delenne, Guilhem Verove and Cécile Calandry. France won the title in 1:01:26.
Career
Pichard has competed for France in both junior and senior international competition. On the junior level, he recorded top-30 finishes in individual disciplines at the Junior World Orienteering Championships and was part of the French relay teams in 2023–2024.
At senior level, he has competed in the European Orienteering Championships and in the Orienteering World Cup, where he has achieved multiple top-30 finishes in sprint and knock-out sprint events. In the 2026 Orienteering World Cup he recorded a top-10 finish by placing 10th in the knock-out sprint at World Cup round 3 in Skara–Lidköping, Sweden.
