Knockout Pizza or Knockout Pizzeria is a New York style pizzeria restaurant chain located in San Diego County, California. It hosts two locations including one in Carlsbad, California and another location in Oceanside, California.[1] Since the original location opened in Carlsbad in 1999, Knockout Pizza has been a popular local favorite Pizzeria especially in Carlsbad.[2]
History
Founded in 1999 by James Markham,[3] the recipe for Knockout's pizza originated in Sicily, Italy in the 1980s.[4] It was bought in 2005 by Patrick Farley,[5] who was a frequent customer.[6]
