Knox Artiste is an Indian Singer, Songwriter, Music Producer, Youtuber and Rapper, etc. Knox started his career as a DJ at the age of 14. He began his career in 2004 in Dubai. He started producing bootleg remixes at the age of 16 and performed in Dubai. He was the youngest DJ to perform in Dubai's nightlife circuit.[1] He started experimenting with his voice and started learning music production. He went to school in Delhi Private School, Sharjah and also went to SAE Dubai where he studied Bachelor's of Audio Engineering for a year.[1]

In 2010, he moved to India where he worked as a music producer for Punjabi singer - Anamika on her album "Dil Kardaa" released on Times Music.[2] In 2012, Knox started creating his own original music and covers of popular Indian songs on his YouTube Channel as Knox Artiste.

In 2017, he released "Flashup by Knox Artiste (14 Songs On 1 Beat)" which became his claim to fame. It went viral and brought his YouTube Subscriber count to over 2.8 Million Subscribers. He also released his first official single "Botal Khol (The Baller's Anthem)" with Jasmine Sandlas on T-Series Music. The music video was directed by David Zennie.

Early Life and Career[edit]

Knox Artiste was born in New Delhi, India. He moved with his family to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2001 where he went to school in Delhi Private School, Sharjah and also went to SAE Dubai where he studied Bachelor's of Audio Engineering for a year.[1] He started performing at the age of 14 and was the youngest DJ to perform in Dubai's nightlife circuit at the age of 18.[3] He released his mashups and remixes online and received support from online communities and radio stations.[1]

In 2017, he released "Flashup by Knox Artiste (14 Songs On 1 Beat)" which became his claim to fame. It went viral and brought his YouTube Subscriber count to over 2.8 Million Subscribers.[4] He also released his first official single "Botal Khol (The Baller's Anthem)" with Jasmine Sandlas on T-Series Music. The music video was directed by David Zennie. The song received recognition from BBC Asian Network presenter Bobby Friction and made it to his selection as "Track Of The Week".

He released his singles "Paisa" and "#DulheKiEntry" in 2019 and on his YouTube Channel.

In 2020, he released his single "RapCorona" which was a song focused towards creating awareness against the COVID-19 pandemic among the young generation and to maintain social distancing.[3] The song featured Indian comedian, YouTuber and singer Bhuvan Bam, Indian YouTuber Prajakta Koli and many more prominent creators from India's YouTube Community.[3]

Knox has created music videos for brands like PepsiCo [5], Oyo Rooms[6], Lenskart, Havmore India, etc.
