The Knox United Football Club (KUFC), formerly known as Knox Old Boys Soccer Club (KOBSC), is a community run, amateur football (soccer) club based in the northern suburbs area of Sydney which plays in the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA).[1]. The club plays has represented in the Premier League in the Men's All Age Division for the past 10 seasons. The club currently has multiple other teams in various age groups and divisions. Notably, significant milestones for the club are, in 2019 the club created its first junior teams (U18-U12) and in 2023 it's first Mini-Roo teams (U11-U6). Starting in 2025 the club has its first female team team in the Women's All Age Division 2. In the 2025 season the club has been the largest in its history with 23 teams, in 2025 the Knox United FC celebrates their 30th year anniversary.
History
The club was founded by and is associated under the patronage of the Old Knox Grammarians Association (OKGA) who is an ex-student association affiliated with Knox Grammar School, a Uniting Church day and boarding school for boys, located in Wahroonga, an upper North Shore suburb of Sydney. The club won founded in 1995, originally with 2 teams comprising of 34 players. For the clubs inaugural season, teams were registered in the Men's All Age (MAA) Division 5 and Division 6, in the then called Ku-Ring-Gai & District Soccer Association (KDSA) The MAA Division 5 team, came 1st in the league earning the clubs first promotion[2]
