Ko Omm
Ko Omm (Burmese: ကိုအွန်း) is the social media persona of Zaw Myo Htut (Burmese: ဇော်မျိုးထွဋ်; born 8 February 1994), who is a Burmese YouTuber / Video creator. He started gaining popularity on social media platforms as a stand-out food content creator with his enormous eating style. He won a "YouTube Creator Award" (Silver).[1]

Early Life
Zaw Myo Htut, Ko Omm was born on 8 February 1994 in Yangon, Myanmar. He is of mixed ethnicity: Karen, Shan and Chinese. He graduated with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Clean Energy from BCA Academy, Singapore in 2014 and continued his studies in Engineering, graduating with a Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) at The University of Newcastle (Australia) (UON) in Australia in 2018.
Career
Zaw Myo Htut, Ko Omm started creating street food content at MPlay, which was founded by Satt Wai Kyaw, Ko Chak Gyi in 2021. He gained his first audience awareness with his enormous eating style. By collaborating with his chef friend Ko Chak Gyi, their presentation style as a cooking show with a storyline became an instant success. Their creation theme thus became uniquely known as Ko Omm and Ko Chak Gyi. The name of Ko Omm (Burmese: ကိုအွန်း) was given by voting from his fans (He used to refer to his fans as his family) on 23.8.2021.[2]
In 2022, he finished his collaboration with MPlay and started his own brand as Ko Omm and entertaining his audience by distributing his own creation digital video contents through social media platforms.
In 2023, he won a YouTube Creator Award (Silver).
Other projects
Ko Omm has appeared in several social media platform commercials, including those for FMCG products, soft drinks and ready-made dishes.
