Kodati Pavan Kalyan (born 16 January 1995) is an Indian Film Editor who primarily works in Telugu-language films. He made his film debut as an Editor in 2020 with College Kumar. His upcoming notable projects include Colour Photo (2020),[1] Major (2020)
Early life and Education
Kodati Pavan Kalyan was born to Kodati Srinivasa Rao and Kodati Varalaxmi Devi in Visakhapatnam, India, but was brought up in Zaheerabad, Medak District, Telangana. He did his graduation in Mining Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela from 2012-2016.
Career
He began his career as an editor in a production house called "Chaibisket" and worked there from 2017-2019. Kodati Pavan Kalyan debuted as an Editor in the film College Kumar (2020), working alongside Garry BH[2]. College Kumar is a romantic family entertainer film directed by Hari Santhosh and produced by L.Padmanabha[3]
Currently he is working on two films. Colour Photo is an intense love drama story yet to be released in 2020.[4] Colour Photo is going to be his first movie as a sole editor in his career. He is also working on Major (2020) as an associate Editor. Major is a film based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Adivi Sesh will play Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's role in this biopic.[5]
