Olayiwola Olabanji Kokumo,[1] better known as Koker, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He currently has a record deal with Chocolate City. He was part of the debut studio album, The Indestructible Choc Boi Nation which was released on 30 April 2015. He was nominated for Rookie of The Year at The Headies 2015 edition[2][3] and he was endorsed by Cloud 9, an Online Music Streaming Company.[4]
Musical career[edit]
His sound is been influenced by King Sunny Adé, Shina Peters and Ebenezer Obey, Koker uses a fusion of Afrobeat, Afro-Juju and Afropop to bring his sound together and he performs in Yoruba, English and Pidgin English.
2015:Do Something (Hit single)[edit]
On 9 May 2015 Koker released his second single "Do Something" under Chocolate City and the music video was directed by Mex.[5][6]
- On 30 October 2015 Do Something was on number 3 spot on Alternative Nigerian Chart by The Beat 99.9 FM and the song was lead by Adekunle Gold with Orente on number 2 spot why Niniola sported number 1 position with Soke.[7]

- Koker spoked to St. Eve Magazine about his single Do Something which he referred as not his first single released by the label.[8]
The Indestructible Choc Boi Nation[edit]
Koker has recorded a whole lot of songs for Chocolate City as it is said on the interview with St. Eve Magazine and also the Chocolate City compilation album The Indestructible Choc Boi Nation which was released on 30 April 2015. It included hit singles, "Do Something" which was the lead single.
2016:Kolewerk (Hit single)[edit]
On 9 February 2016 Koker released his third single "Kolewerk" under Chocolate City and the music video was directed by Clarence Peters[9] and the remix was released on June 17, 2016 featuring Olamide.[10][11]
