Umerali Shihab Thangal Islamic Academy Kokkachal Wafy College is one of the greatest Islamic institution of Northern Kerala. Established in 2012 May 25. It is located at kokkachal in kasargod District. 6km away from Bandiyod NH66. The curriculum of this reputed institution has been tailored to meet a post-graduate course in islamic studies along with an under graduate degree of UGC, India (titled wafy),following the syllabus set from the Co-ordination of Islamic Colleges (c.i.c) recognized by both AL-AZHAR and CAIRO Universities with 69 colleges affiliated to it. The Academy continues to work for creating promissing generation of Islamic Scholars.
