    Konfuzio is a data capture API software developed by Helm & Nagel GmbH,[2]. The program runs under Linux and the first version was released as a Minimum Viable Product in 2018 by funds provided by a German banking association [3]. In 2020 the software was installed in large insurance companies[4] and the German Central Bank reports using Konfuzio to analyze text documents[5] as Federal Office of Administration reports reveal [6]. On July 9, 2021, Microsoft published three connectors on Microsoft Power Platform worldwide except for Azure Government regions, Azure China regions, US Department of Defense (DoD) [7][8].

    Helm & Nagel GmbH[edit]

    Helm & Nagel was founded in 2016 and released Konfuzio in 2018. In 2020, Helm & Nagel GmbH has been awarded the Digital Champions Award 2020 for German SMEs by the Deutsche Telekom and Wirtschaftswoche in the category “Digital Processes & Organization” as well as the award for the “Best Regional Champion” [9] and the digital leader award in Hesse (Germany) [10]. In 2021, F10 (incubator) selected Helm & Nagel GmbH as one on of 12 start-ups of total 384 applications globally [11]
