Konrad is the recording and stage name of Jeffrey Konrad, an American songwriter, record producer and musician. Konrad runs the independent record label Radical Turf Records,[1] a label that specializes in experimental, alternative and electronic music. Konrad has appeared on half a dozen compilation albums for various record labels and has been played on North American college radio.[2]
Konrad's debut album, Loose Canyons, received airplay and charting by over 100 radio stations during the first month of its release[citation needed] in August 2008 and made its debut at #182 on the College Music Journal Top 200 chart.[citation needed] The album's single "Girls Gone Wild" was the featured online track of the week for[3] CMJ (College Music Journal) August 19, 2008.
