Kotgadi Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located on the banks of the East Ramganga River between Berinag (28.9 km) and Didihat Town (46 km) in Pithoragarh district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is at an altitude of about 1350 meters above sea level.[1]

This temple is considered to be the last divine court of appeal for the underprivileged and victims of cruelty and injustice. Prominent among them are the Laxminarayan Temple and Pagoda in the city and Shiva, Hanuman, Chatkeshwar, Gurna Devi and Igyara Devi around the city. Then there are temples dedicated to local deities like Gangnath, Bhumiya, Airi, Chamu, Badan, Haru, Balchan, Churmal, Gabila, Chipla etc. These latter deities are a class separate from the divine order and deities confined to specific regions, families and castes.[2]
