Kraja is an a capella band from Umeå, Sweden. The band was created before the 2002 edition of the Umeå folk music festival Umefolk. The group consists of Linnea Nilsson, Eva Lestander, Lisa Lestander and Frida Johansson. The first two albums mainly contained own arrangements of traditional hymns and Swedish folk music. Since the third album "Brusand hav" most of their music have been self-composed.
The band name "Kraja" is Sami for "The place to which you long".
