Kristina Lee Halliwell Collins (born July 1, 1996), more commonly known as Kris Collins or by her TikTok username kallmekris, is a Canadian social media personality. Collins is best known for her series of comedy skits on TikTok which feature a variety of characters, all of whom are portrayed by Collins.[1] Collins, who has 48.6 million followers on TikTok, is currently the most followed Canadian on the platform[2] and the 23rd most followed globally.[3]
Early Life[edit]
Collins was born to Karalee Collins in 1996. At the time of Collins' birth, Karalee and her biological father were in the process of obtaining a divorce.[4] Concurrently, Karalee was married to Collins' stepfather, John Halliwell.
After dropping out of the University of the Fraser Valley,[5] Collins became a hairdresser in Vancouver,[6] which eventually led her to become a hairdresser on the set of Riverdale.[7]
Social Media Career[edit]
After the app was suggested to her by her brother,[8] Collins created her TikTok account on April 9, 2020 and posted her first video on the same day, which was a lip-sync to an audio of a line spoken by John C. Reilly in the 2008 film Step Brothers.[9]
Collins would create a YouTube channel on August 11, which was followed by the creation of a spam account with the tag kallmewhateveryouwant on August 12.
Collins has collaborated with popular figures such as Phillip DeFranco,[10] Linus Gabriel Sebastian,[11] Doctor Mike, and Jax.[12] Additionally, she engaged in a brief feud with Kadie Karen Diekmeyer, better known as "That Vegan Teacher," which began after Diekmeyer posted a video where she "failed" Collins.
Collins signed with United Talent Agency in January 2022.[13] In December of that year, Collins was nominated in the 12th Streamy Awards for Breakout Creator, although she ultimately lost to Ryan Trahan.[14]
As of March 2023, Collins has 48.6 million followers.[15]
