Kris Povlsen

Paul Kristian "Kris" Povlsen III (born January 16, 1948 in Oak Park, Illinois) was the Mayor of Dekalb, Illinois,[1] home to Northern Illinois University. Povlsen was elected to his first full term on April 7, 2009,[2] after being appointed acting mayor in August 2008.[3] On September 21, 2012 Povlsen announced via press release that he would not be running for reelection.[4]
