Kristian Leth (born 1980) is a Danish writer, musician and radio journalist living in Brooklyn.[1][2][3] He hosts the weekly radio show Bibelen Leth Fortalt about history and religion on Danish National Radio P1.[4] Leth graduated from Forfatterskolen, The Danish Writers' School in 2002.[5]. He calls himself a "storyteller with an aversion to grand narratives" and he has written about how we think about the future and understand history.[6] In 2011 The Danish Crown Prince Couple's Awards awarded Leth and his band The William Blakes the Stardust Prize (Kronprinsparrets Stjernedryspris).[7] The same year the band won two Danish Music Awards for Best Album and Best Rock Group.[8] He received the DRs Sprogpris (Danish Radio Language Prize) in 2013[9] and the European award Prix Italia in 2014 for his radio documentaries.[10][11] Leth has published 13 books and 16 albums. He has composed the soundtrack (with Fridolin Nordsø) for the Netflix series Rita and Equinox as well as DR Drama series Herrens Veje.[12]
