From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Kryptomon is a non-fungible token-based powered metaverse, play-and-earn web3 game project known for its in-game economy which uses Binance Smart Chain-based cryptocurrencies.[1]

History

Founded and developed in 2021 by Umberto Canessa, Kryptomon is an NFT powered game that is set in the metaverse where trainers look after their NFT creatures and can battle with those creatures known as Kryptomons.[1] Trainers are also allowed to participate in location-based treasure hunts in the metaverse and prepare them for battle.[1]

Corporate Affairs

In 2021, Kryptomon teamed up with Binance NFT to provide an exclusive debut sale of 2,000 Kryptomon eggs to Binance users. The second egg sale was launched in 2022 and generated $237,500 in sales with 2,500 NFT eggs sold. The same year, Kryptomon partnered with BakerySwap to place 500 Kryptomon mystery boxes on the BakerySwap platform for sale. The boxes were listed only for 5,000 whitelisted winners on a first-come-first-served basis. Kryptomon also lists its native token on Bybit Global, Kryptomon’s second centralized exchange for KMON.[citation needed] Sweatcoin, a move-to-earn web2 app, also partnered with web3 gaming company Kryptomon for their shift into web3.[citation needed] As of 2022, Kryptomon has raised $10 million in private funding round Series A. Kryptomon launched a User Acquisition Campaign on TikTok and acquired the license to advertise through TikTok in South-East Asian countries.[citation needed]
