Vanessa Grellet (born April 27, 1975, in New York City) is an American and French investor and businesswoman working in financial services and emerging technologies.

In 2022, she was recognized as one of the 100 most influential people in cryptocurrency and blockchain within Fintech by Cointelegraph[1].

Early life and education

Vanessa Grellet holds a law degree from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University and a Master's degree in Business Management and Law from HEC Paris[2]. She is the daughter of French journalist and author Gilbert Grellet.

Business career

Vanessa Grellet began her career as an executive in the strategy department of the New York Stock Exchange focusing on public mergers and acquisitions, from 2006 to 2014. She subsequently joined PwC, contributing to the global wealth management team between 2014 and 2015[2].

From 2016 to 2021, she served as Executive Director at ConsenSys, directing the adoption of Ethereum-based products[2]. She moved to CoinFund in 2021, where she was Head of Growth for their investment portfolio[3]. Following this, she led the Web3 fund at Aglaé Ventures, a venture capital firm under Bernard Arnault’s LVMH group, from 2022 to 2024[4].

In 2024, Vanessa Grellet founded Arche Capital Management, a venture capital firm focused on Web3 and based in Austin, Texas[5].

Other activities

Vanessa Grellet has played an active role in launching several blockchain initiatives. She is a board member of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance[6] and NFT Paris Conference as well as a founding member of the Art & Antiquities Blockchain Consortium[7] and the Blockchain for Social Impact[8]. Grellet has collaborated with the World Economic Forum's Digital Currency Governance Consortium[9].
