Biography
Ksenia Fedoruk is a German pianist of Russian origin.
A frequent guest in large halls of Europe and Asia, such as the Laieszhalle Hamburg, Berlin Philharmonie, Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Elbphilharmonische Konzerte, Porto Casa da Música, Moscow Kremlin, and in more intimate venues like the Piano Salon Christophori Berlin and TONALi Saal Hamburg, Ksenia began playing the piano at the age of three and a half.
After graduating from the Academic Music College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2011 with highest distinction, she earned her Solo Diploma and Solo Masters Piano performance in 2018 at the Berlin University of the Arts under Professors Pascal Devoyon and Rikako Murata.
She frequently performs as a soloist and as a passionate chamber musician in festivals such as Puplinge Classique, Neamt Piano Festival, Euro Arts, Crescendo, and Fête de la Musique, with a large and varied repertoire. Her performances have been broadcast live on radio stations such as Deutschlandradio Kultur.
In private concerts, she has had the honor of performing at a reception for the former Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Shvydkoy, hosted by the German Ambassador to Russia, Ulrich Brandenburg, at the German Embassy in Moscow, and at an Open Day at the German Bundestag.
Together with the organization Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now in Germany, she brought music to hundreds of people who, due to health issues, would otherwise never have been able to attend a classical concert.
She has also served as a competition juror for Jugend Musiziert and was a regular musical guest at Sehsüchte, Europe's largest student film festival in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
She has worked in masterclasses with Klaus Hellwig, Jacques Rouvier, Eldar Nebolsin, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Markus Groh, Alfredo Perl, Elena Lapitskaya, and other renowned pianists. For chamber music, she has received further guidance from masterclasses and lessons with Jörg Widmann, Wilfried Strehle, Nils Mönkemeyer, François Benda, Mark Gothoni, Julie Kaufmann, and other musicians.
To understand art from diverse perspectives, Ksenia completed her studies at the oldest Moscow School of Classical Painting and Sculpture Arts, named after Vladimir Serov, and the Andriyaka watercolor painting courses. As a hobby, she enjoys painting with oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as playing tennis in her rare free time.
