Plot
Kuch Der Aur is more like an art film with a raw yet intriguing narrative, a folk-like music score, subtle acting, and some distinctive editing style mixed with the observational montages of the day to day life in Chandni Chowk area of New Delhi.
Bittu (the apparent protagonist of the film) narrates his day to day life, wherein he describes how sad and monotonous his life is and how he's not different from the other people in Chandi Chowk as everyone seems to have the same impassive lives spend in the wait for something better. It is only revealed later that the instances shown of his life and that of the other people are actually his experiences that he is narrating to his Mother who's shown to be silent because of some traumatized past. In a sequence of events, wherein a new girl enters his life and her mother departs in the wait for his son who couldn't comfort her in her silent life anymore, Bittu grows up with a realization that this cycle of good and bad times is the truth of life and what he can only do is to hold on to his hope and wait for the better times like the million others in Chandni Chowk are doing.
