Christian Songco, better known as Kudasai (Japanese which roughly translates to "Give me please") or Kudasaibeats, is a Filipino/Mexican lo-fi artist/producer from Chino Hills, SoCal. The stagename comes from the song "Chotto Matte Kudasai (Never Say Goodbye)" by The Sandpipers.[1][2][3] Songco states on his spotify that he is 22 years old.[4]
Career[edit]
Songco started focusing on his music in 2016/2017 after being inspired by music from SoundCloud and focuses on lo-fi (as well as lo-fi hip hop). His first album "Falling" was released in 2017. It has recieved over 50 million views on Youtube and over 45 million streams on spotify, making it a successful debut album. His latest album "Silver Lining", was released on August 20, 2021.[5][6] Songcos uses a launchpad, guitar, keyboard, various software, samples as well as his vocals to produce his songs.[1][2][5] His song "the girl i haven't met" is the most successful of his songs, and has as of August 26, 2021, over 46 million views on Youtube.[7][8][9]
