Kuei Chol Kuei (August 24, 2000), better known by his social media name, is an Australian social media star, actor and musician who is best known for his YouTube and Vines videos which have earned him over 300 thousand Subscribers and views. Kuei Awsm is best known for his innovative vine which he later on went to start YouTube. His first videos started in January 2015 with the "Black and Blue Vine", doing short vines and skits. He is currently attending high school until 2018 where he will be pursuing an acting degree at the University of Melbourne he once said in a video, as he aspires to be an actor or be around that field. He has been mentioned in many articles such as BuzzFeed,[1] TMZ, WhatCulture and many more.
Career
Kuei has earned over 300 thousand viewers on vine and over a million views on the social media app Vine, ranking as one of the top viners in South Australia and Australia. Although he is now known for his vines, he originated in music covers in early 2011 - 2015, his YouTube channel "awsm covers" which had over 50,000+ subscribers was deleted in 2015 as he lost motivation in the music industry. Restarting his YouTube channel and focusing mainly on short skits and short films, he has gained over 19,000 monthly viewers and is currently pursuing a film career. He is also known for his Viral Videos such as Black and blue
Early life
Kuei Kuei was born in 2000 and is from South Sudan, East Africa[1], he is the oldest of 6 siblings, he was raised by his mother Juba Ajith and father Chol Nhial. At a young age, Kuei was interested in singing, teaching himself how to sing until 2015 when he found his talent in making short films. He has gone to compete in many local competitions such as FocusOnAbility and TropFest 2016 (soon to be released).
Music to Acting
Kuei Kuei was making short singing videos on YouTube until he started to lose interest in music, this enabled him to take time in finding new talents, which he did. In 2015 he decided to try acting in school based activities which enabled him to write his first short film "Revelations" with a few others. Kuei awsm has since then stuck with making short films to this present day. He also has a debut album also named revelations which is "set to launch in fall 2017" said by TMZ.[2]

Kuei Kuei[3] is an Australian Actor who has started in films such as Bamboozled (2013),[4] Not what I have, who I am (2016),[5] Lemonade Stand (2012),[6] Red Nuts (2014),[7] Colourful Knots (2015),[8] Unwanted Friend (2012).[9] He was also in cameos in major shows such as Home & Away
Talents
Aside from doing singing covers, Kuei Kuei makes films, he is inspired by the acts of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock and Will Smith as inspirations when making films. He has been compared to actors like Will Smith.
Social Media Career
Kuei Kuei has been on social media for the last couple of year. He has had a massive growth rate, for example his Twitter, which he started in January, 2015, he has gained over 20 thousand followers in a short period. Another example of his massive growth is his Vine (service), he currently has 300 thousand viewers in only three months. Kuei Awsm does not like social media apps like Face (sociological concept) as he believes they are "platforms of hate". Kuei Kuei has also recently been featured in articles relating to his ability to make videos go "viral" as stated by TheDailyHaze[10] in the article "The Internet Is a great Place".
