Kurt Deimer (born April 25, 1966), known professionally as Bald Man, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Deimer is a founding member of the hard rock band Bald Man, who released its debut 10-track studio album of original material, Music for the Rest of Us, on September 18, 2020.[3] The first single from the album titled "Fight"[4] debuted on August 7, 2020.[5][6][7]
Music For the Rest of Us was produced by Bald Man, mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and mastered Ted Jensen, and co-written by Bald Man and Ben Trexel.[1][8]
On October 1, 2020, Bald Man Band announced its Hellbilly Hollow-Ween North American Tour, a COVID-19 safe, 15-date live concert and movie premiere experience with heavy metal DJ Eddie Trunk.[9] The tour, consisting of performing Music For The Rest Of Us in its entirety and a screening of Bald Man's horror film, “Hellbilly Hollow,"[10] traveled to Pennsylvania from New Jersey,[11] including a nine-date run at Land of Illusion Adventure Park in Middletown, Ohio[12] with show dates in Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Anaheim. The tour doubled as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with 50% of proceeds donated by Bald Man’s L Foundation charity.[8]
On October 24, 2020, Bald Man released his second single and accompanying music video for the track "2020 Vision" featuring lead guitarist Phil X, bassist Daniel Spree, drummer Brian Tichy, and keyboardist and musical director Steve Ferlazzo.[13]
Bald Man’s acting credits include roles in Halloween (2018), starring Jamie Lee Curtis and directed by David Gordon Green,[14] as the character Teller, who was killed by Michael Myers, and Trading Paint (2019), starring John Travolta and Shania Twain.[15][16]
Bald Man serves as the president & chief executive officer of Coolants Plus, Inc., a wholesale supplier of lubricants, antifreeze, additives, and chemicals,[17] Panther Petroleum, and Starfire Premium Lubricants.[18][2]
