Kwan Ho Kwak (born June 18, 1989) is a retired South Korean mixed martial artist who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in their bantamweight division.
Mixed martial arts career[edit]
Kwak started training MMA out of interest, and one thing led to another and soon enough he turned pro within a year.
Kwak is the current Bantamweight champion of both TOP FC and PXC. He won the TOP FC title by defeating rival Han Bin Park at TOP FC 8 to cap off their trilogy. The PXC championship he captured after a 5 round war with Kyle Aguon at PXC 51.
After compiling a record of 9 - 0, he signed with the UFC in late 2016.[2]
Ultimate Fighting Championship[edit]
Kwak made his promotional debut on November 19, 2016 against Brett Johns at UFC Fight Night 99.[3] He lost the fight via unanimous decision.[4]
Kwak next faced Russell Doane on June 17, 2017 at UFC Fight Night 111.[5] He lost the fight via knockout in the first round.[6]
