Kyle Preston Arnsberg (born August 15,1990) is a professional baseball coach for the Cincinnati Reds[1] of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Playing career

Amateur

Arnsberg attended Arlington Lamar high school in Arlington, Texas. He enrolled at Arizona State University and played college baseball for the Arizona State Sundevils. [2]After his freshman year, Arnsberg transferred to McLennan Community College to play for the Highlanders. Arnsberg played his next two seasons at Louisiana Tech University for the Bulldogs.[3] Arnsberg was selected in the MLB first year player draft twice. Once in 2009 by the Boston Red Sox and in 2011 by the St. Louis Cardinals.[citation needed]

Coaching career

New York Yankees

In 2015, Arnsberg was hired to the coaching staff as a bullpen catcher.[4]

Cincinnati Reds

In 2021, Arnsberg became a game planning coach for the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.[5] On November 29, 2021, Arnsberg was promoted to the role of "Assistant Coach" with the Cincinnati Reds. [6] In 2022, Arnsberg was promoted to "Major League Coach/Coordinator of Advance Scouting."[7]
