Kyle Hulse, (born May 26, 2001) is an American video game developer who is most known for his work on the Roblox platform, as well as his work in the virtual worlds and wider video games industry. He is the founder of several indie game studios operating on user-generated content platforms, and currently serves as the Director of Digital Gaming at Jazwares[1], a global toy manufacturer known for its plush brand Squishmallows. As well as this, Hulse writes a column for business magazine Inc. Magazine.

Early life

Born in 2001, Hulse started to publish games independently on the Roblox platform at age 14. At age 15, Hulse began working with the Roblox Corporation as a consultant on brand partnerships, working with brands such as Nickelodeon, DC Comics, Warner Brothers[2], among others. He attended sixth form college in the United Kingdom at John Leggott College.

Career

In 2019, Hulse relocated to the United States where he joined Roblox's Accelerator Program in San Mateo, California.

Shortly afterwards, Hulse started several businesses, ranging from an indie game studio to a digital consulting firm.

In 2021, Hulse joined global toy manufacturer Jazwares as their Director of Digital Gaming, and founded their first in-house video game studio, shortly after releasing an official Squishmallows game[3] on the Roblox platform.
