Musical Style & Influences[edit]
LJ’s music style has generally been regarded as pop and R&B influenced country music, with her music compared to Sheryl Crow.[7] LJ weaves southern charm, love of life, faith, and relatability into the music she creates.[2] LJ's music career has been influenced by George Strait, from his loyal fan-base to his talented live performances.[8] The main theme of LJ's music has been to inspire people through her positive message and give people hope through their heart break.[7]

LJ married her college sweetheart, Rick Hague, in 2011.[6] Hague was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 3rd round of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft, and played infield for the Triple-A baseball team, the Syracuse Chiefs, in 2015.[9] LJ and Rick currently live in Nashville, Tennessee.[6]
