Lakshadweep Class is a class of dedicated hospital ship of the Indian Navy. INS Lakshadweep is the only ship in the class.
INS Lakshadweep[edit]
INS Lakshadweep (IMO number: 9448102) is an Indian Navy hospital ship whose home port is Kochi (also known as Cochin), on the south-west coast of India. Originally built as passenger ship in 2010, the ship was converted into hospital ship.[1]

The Indian Navy's Sandhayak-class survey ships and Shardul-class tank landing ships can be converted to hospital ships during an emergency.[2][3]
