"GANAKOKILA" Smt.Lalitha Madhav, Bhamidipati is an accomplished exponent of Carnatic Classical music with M.A (music, Gold medalist), M.Phil degrees in Music from University of Madras and is an 'A' graded artiste in Classical Vocal from AIR, Chennai. She is one of the leading Vocalists from Andhra Pradesh who has established herself in the Carnatic style as a result of firm conviction in tradition coupled with an aptitude for absorbing novel and interesting aspects of music and integrating these in her concerts. She can astound the most demanding audience, with her brilliant sketches of raga, her vast repertoire, and her stamina to provide energetic concerts. She captivated thousands of music lovers through her scintillating voice and powerful Vidwath and Gnanam.

Lalitha has been a performing artiste since 1990 and has presented concerts at many important and prestigious sabhas throughout the country. Her initial training was under SANGEETHA SAMRAT Sri M.S.Balasubrahmanya Sarma. Later she improvised under the tutelage of Swara Samrat Sri. Poruri Lakshmi Narasimha Rao, Calcutta Sri K.S. Krishna Murthy and Smt. Suguna Purushottaman, Chennai. She had her advanced training under Hyderabad Brothers. She was Conferred the title GAANAKOKILA by Sri. Annavarapu Ramaswamy at Ongole. Lalitha is also specially trained in Light music under the guidance of Sri. Poruri Narasima Rao under whom she improvised her voice culture to give an emotional and devotional aspects in Carnatic and light music. She is holding B HIGH Grade in Light Vocal from AIR, Hyderabad.

Lalitha has a rich voice and eloquent style of music rendering and carries with her a diverse treasure of Carnatic Classical and Light music from Lalitha has performed many concerts in devotional and light music.

She is awarded GOLD MEDAL from SAMSKARA BHARATHI, HYDERABAD in 1995.

She secured first place in Classical Vocal in SAARC YOUTH FESTIVAL, GULBERGA UNIVERSITY, NATIONAL YOUTH FEST, UNIVERSITY OF CALICUT  and IN ANNAMACHARYA KRITHIS BY KALASAGARAM, Secunderabad in 1996
