Lanze (born November 16, 1997)[2] is an American rapper from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is known for his peculiar vocal style, consisting of heavy breathing and shortness of breath while rapping.[3] In 2017, he gained attention after the release of his songs "Bring Me That Shit", "Wit It" and "Da Race" (remix of Tay-K's "The Race").
Life[edit]
According to his prison record from his arrest on January 9, 2018, Lanze's first name is Thomas and he was born on November 16, 1997.[2]
In November 2017, Lanze was shot in his hometown of Cincinnati. On Instagram, he posted a video of himself in the hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.[4] He also told fans on social media that unnamed suspects kidnapped him and tried to cut his hand off.[2]
On January 9, 2018, Lanze was charged with three felony counts of burglary and a receiving stolen property charge. His mugshot surfaced online along with his charges. He is currently facing 25 years in prison.[2]
