The Lao Division 1 League is a football league representing the sport's second highest level in Laos. The league is composed of thirteen clubs for the 2019 season.
Format[edit]
Over the course of a season, which runs from February to September, all teams in four groups will compete in the tournament. Under the Lao Division 1 competition, the top two teams from each of four groups will progress to playoffs to eventually find the two clubs for promotion.[1]
