Founded in 1993, the Latvian Floorball Union (LFU) (Latvian: Latvijas florbola savienība) is the governing body for floorball in Latvia. The LFU is responsible for the promotion and development of floorball in the country, organizing competitions and events, and increasing participation in the sport.[1]

As of 2021, the LFU has 3,488 registered players, making it one of the most popular sports in the country. The union is a member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) and is not a member of the Latvian Olympic Committee.[2]

The LFU is responsible for organizing and managing floorball competitions and events in Latvia, including national leagues, tournaments, and training camps. The union also works to develop the skills and abilities of players, coaches, and referees. Some of the most successful floorball clubs in Latvia include Lekrings, Ķekava/RB&B, and Lielvārde/FatPipe.

The LFU has been successful in promoting and developing floorball in Latvia, and the country has achieved success in international competitions. The Latvian national team has competed in several Men's and Women's World Floorball Championships and has achieved a top-10 ranking in the world.

The LFU is governed by a board of directors, which is responsible for setting policies and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the union. The board is elected by the union's members, which include clubs, players, coaches, referees, and other individuals and organizations involved in floorball in Latvia.
