Laura Londoño (Medellín, Colombia, February 13, 1988) is a Colombian actress, model and artist.[1] One of her most recent projects is Café Con Aroma de Mujer that will be airing on Telemundo and RCN.[2]
Career[edit]
In 2006, she worked on the telenovela Las profesionales, a su servicio from Caracol Televisión, which was her debut as a professional actress. The plot revolves around a company training young people for domestic work, nursing and babysitting for family homes, for which Laura plays one of these women.[3]
In 2007, she played Elisa on the telenovela Victoria, produced by RTI Producciones for Telemundo. The series is based on Señora Isabel, previously made in Mexico with the title Mirada de mujer . The play is about the dramatic romance between Mrs. Victoria and Jerónimo.[3]
In 2008, she had a noteworthy role in Sin senos no hay paraíso , a production of the U.S. network Telemundo and filmed in Mexico. She played Lina Arango, a young woman who pretended to be a model but was in fact involved in the drama of drug traffickers.[3]
In 2011, she also acted in Germán Castro Caicedo's telenovela, adapted by Caracol, La Bruja, filmed mostly in the town of Jardín, Antioquia. In it she played the sweet and naive Lina, the best friend of Amanda Mora, the protagonist of the production, played by Flora Martínez.[3]
Laura Londoño and Marlon Moreno were the main protagonist in the famous RCN Televisión series El capo 2. She played Nicole, the daughter of the lawyer who was defending the mobster.[3]
In Rafael Orozco, el ídolo she captivated thousands of Colombians who love this story of the late minstrel vallenato. Her character Silvia Duque is a jovial, free-spirited hippie who becomes the Bogotá singer's girlfriend; these met when he came to study in the Capital. A performance that earned him a nomination for the India Catalina Awards and TVyNovelas Awards for best antagonistic role.[3]
Comando Elite, by RCN and MundoFox in 2013, shows the fight of the Colombian Police against the main leaders of the guerrillas, paramilitaries and drug cartels. Her role as Paula Saravia is the daughter of General Saravia, Head of the Intelligence Directorate, starring Peruvian actor Salvador del Solar along with Jorge Alí and Rodrigo Triana. Laura thus defines her role, which was nominated for the TVyNovelas Awards, as a « ...very rebellious [girl] who tries to attract the attention and affection of her father, a brilliant policeman in his work, but she sees him very far from the family, and that is what she demands of him ».[3]
In 2016 and 2018 she starred in the Colombian telenovela La ley del corazón along with Luciano D'Alessandro.[3]
