Laura Sparks

Laura Sparks is an American lawyer, and president of The Cooper Union.[1][2] She is the first woman president of the school.[3][4] Sparks wants the school to again offer free tuition to students.[5]

She graduated from Wellesley College, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. She worked for Opportunity Finance Network. She was director of the William Penn Foundation.[6][7][8]
