Lauren Cisneros
Lauren Cisneros (born 1981) is a beauty queen who won the title Miss Colorado USA 2005.
Cisneros, who hails from Denver, Colorado, has Native American, Spanish, Mexican, Norwegian and French heritage. Prior to her pageant win, she had placed second runner-up to Janel Haw in the previous year's competition which was her first pageant.
Cisneros represented Colorado in the Miss USA 2005 pageant held in Baltimore, Maryland in April 2005 but failed to make the cut. The pageant was won by Chelsea Cooley of North Carolina.
Cisneros is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, and the first in her immediate family to graduate from college. She is a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma sorority. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Speech Communications. At the time of her pageant win, she was employed as a Communications Specialist and a professional model. In Fall 2009 Lauren entered graduate school at CU Denver for her Masters in Counseling Psychology.
Cisneros competed in the Miss Earth United States 2007 pageant where she placed in the Top 9.[1]
