Laurence G. Boldt (born 1954) is the author of Zen and the Art of Making a Living, Zen Soup, The Tao of Abundance and How to Find the Work You Love. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and works as a career consultant. His books are a hybrid between Eastern religious principles (Taoism, Zen) and pragmatic Western problem solving. The theme of his works is to live a happy, prosperous, productive life that respects and incorporates Taoist principles. For Western readers, he furnishes accessible and persuasive works which call upon readers to integrate enlightened Eastern practices into their daily lives and workplaces.
