Lawrence E. Williams
Lawrence Williams is an American consumer researcher and associate professor of Marketing at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder.
Early Career[edit]
Williams was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow in 2005 and Whitebox Advisors Doctoral Fellow in 2007. He received his A.B. from Harvard University in Psychology in 2002, magna cum laude. He received his PhD in Psychology at Yale University in 2008.
Research[edit]
Dr. Williams research examines the subtle influence of environmental cues on consumer behavior[1][2], the impact of psychological distance on consumers’ emotional judgments[2][3][4][5], and the mechanisms of self-regulation and self-control[6][7].
