Laxmita Reang (born 07 August 2002) is an Indian football player.[1] A former goalkeeper of the India women's national under-16 football team, she has a total of four international caps to her credit.[2][3][4]
Early life[edit]
Laxmita Reang was born on 7 August 2002 in North Tripura district, Tripura, to Churamoni Reang and Binita Reang.[1] Her father is a daily labourer and occasional cultivator, and her mother is a homemaker. Reang is the third child in the family.[5]
Career[edit]
Reang has been interested in football since her childhood. She started her football career with the Tripura under-14 girls' football team and performed well in Odisha in the National U-14 girls football championship.[5]
International[edit]
Reang represented India at the under-16 level during the 2016 AFC U-16 Women's Asian Cup held in Beijing.[5][6][7]
