Layali El Bidh

Layali El Bidh (Arabic: الليالي البيض‎), "the white nights" in English, is the period of the year extending, according to the Berber calendar, from 25 December to 13 January. It is known for its cold nights while the days are hot.

Etymology

It takes its name from the absence of clouds during this period.
