Le Dipri, is a 2009 Ivorian documentary short film directed by Roger Gnoan M'Bala and produced by for Abyssa Films.[1][2] The film describes the colorful ritual called Dipri, which is a form of initiation practiced by the Abidji people.[3] It demonstrates of religious mystic power fueled by a collective trance where great masters suffer injuries with a knife they claim cure instantly.[4]
The film made its premier in 2009 in Côte d'Ivoire. The film received positive reviews from critics.[5]
