Lee Coan
Lee Coan is a writer and ex editor of men's magazine FHM.
Journalism career[edit]
Lee Coan used to edit the 'Incoming!' section of FHM, incorporating readers letters, crazy pictures, and fact-based news stories. As a celebrity writer, Coan has interviewed the Sugababes,[1] Keeley Hazell,[2] Brad Pitt, Lemmy from Motörhead, 50 Cent and Jason Kay of the band Jamiroquai amongst others. Since leaving FHM, Coan's interviews have been found in The Mail on Sunday, The Guardian, and Shortlist magazine.[3] Lee Coan was nominated for the 2005 PTC New Journalist of the Year awards.[4] In August 2007 Lee met with Babyshambles star Pete Doherty shortly before he was jailed.[5]
Li'l Lee[edit]
Li'l Lee was a re-occurring character in FHM from 2003-2007.
Criticism[edit]
On 2 April 2014 Lee came under fire from the skateboarding community after publishing an article on the Telegraph's website insinuating that older skateboarders should grow up.[6]
