Lee Jina, known as ‘’DJ Jina’’ (Korean: 이지나), is a South Korean model and DJ from Andong, South Korea. She is a successful DJ, performing in different clubs and festivals all over Asia. [1] In 2019, she was named as the 49th best DJ in Asia by DJane Mag.[2]
Early life
DJ Jina was born in Andong, South Korea where she helped with her family's rice farm while she was growing up. She graduated from Andong University where she studied law, accounting and economics. [3] Before transitioning into a full-time model and a DJ, she worked at Shinhan Bank and Hyundai Capital.[4]
Modelling career
DJ Jina entered the modelling world in 2014 where she joined the Miss Maxim Model Search, eventually being part of the top 3 in the competition. [5] This opened many doors for her in the world of modelling, and she featured in magazines all over Asia, including Maxim and FHM Philippines.
She got her break in the sports world when she was a model for the racing team, Fortec. [6] She caught the eye of mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship back in 2016. [7] Since then, she has been a staple in the organization's events. Yahoo Singapore featured her in their 'Asian MMA's Hottest Ring Girls' feature in 2017[8], and in 2018 she was named as the ring girl of the year in the 2018 Global Martial Arts Awards. [9]
DJ Career
Aside from being a model, DJ Jina also entered the music industry as she performs as a DJ in clubs and events all across Asia. Jina's music ranges from Deep House, Electro House, Funk House and NU Disco. [10]
She has been working as a DJ since 2017.

Personal life
Lee Jina can speak Korean and English fluently and is expanding her linguistic abilities to include Chinese.[11]
