Lee Sae-rom (Korean: 이새롬, born January 7, 1997),[1] known mononymously as Saerom (Korean: 새롬), is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is best known as the leader of the South Korean girl group Fromis 9.
Early life
Saerom was born in Suwon on January 7, 1997. She is the younger child of her family and has an older brother.
Career
2017: Idol School
She was revealed to be a contestant on the 2017 girl group survival show Idol School.[2] In the finale, Saerom finished the competition in third place, thus securing her spot as a member of Fromis 9.[3]
2018: Debut with Fromis 9, solo activities
Fromis 9 officially debuted with their mini album To. Heart on January 24, 2018.[4]
