History
Legal Robot is headquartered in San Francisco, U.S., and became an incorporated company in 2015. Legal Robot was founded by entrepreneurs Dan Rubins, a mentor at The Founder Institute[5] and Kathleen Rubins’ brother, and Megan Satterfield-Smith. In June 2016, the company released Smart Will:tm, the first autonomous AI legal agent. The agent is built from a number of Smart contracts assembled by Legal Robot's software. Legal Robot is also part of the SAP SE Startup Focus Program.[6]
