Leila Mejdalani Pereira (born 11 November 1964) is a Brazilian sports director, lawyer and businesswoman. She is the current president of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, elected for the 2022–2024 term[1]
She is married to business owner José Roberto Lamacchia, founder of Crefisa, a company she runs since 2008, and of Faculdade das Américas (FAM).
Palmeiras[edit]
At Palmeiras, Leila became a board member in 2017. On November 20, 2021, in a vote with a single slate, she was elected the 40th president in the club's history, being the first woman – she received 1,897 votes from members out of a total of 2,141.
