Lele Sadoughi
Lisa "Lele" Sadoughi is an American accessories designer based in New York City. She is the founder and designer of accessories brand Lele Sadoughi.
Career[edit]
Originally from Dallas, Lele studied at The University of Texas at Austin and Central St. Martins in London.[1] Following graduation, Lele moved to New York where she worked for Rebecca Taylor[2] [3]and Ippolita[4]. She was then recruited to create and launch J.Crew's jewelry division and joined in 2006 where she served as the brand's first Jewelry Design Director.[5] [6]She then worked at Tory Burch where she also held the position of Jewelry Design Director.[7]
Brand[edit]
Known for her embellished headbands [8], Lele launched her namesake jewelry collection, Lele Sadoughi in 2012.[9] In 2018, she launched her popular pearl adorned headbands.[10] [11] [12]In 2019 she introduced eyewear[13] and handbags [14]. In 2020 Lele Sadoughi also started designing and producing belts, hosiery, cold weather accessories, hats, and face masks.[15] [16]
The brand has been featured in top fashion publications and digital media including Vogue, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and more. Lele Sadoughi's accessories are favored by many celebrities including First Lady Dr. Jill Biden who has worn Lele's designs.[17] [18]
Lele Sadoughi has also collaborated with many fashion brands including LoveShackFancy, [19] Solid & Striped [20], Stoney Clover Lane,[21], eatery Eataly [22] and more.
In May 2021, Lele Sadoughi opened her first retail store in Dallas, Texas.[23] [24] [25]
