Lenny Schafer
Lenny Schafer is the adoptive parent of an autistic child. He is the editor of the "Schafer Autism Report",[1][2] an autism publication. He is an activist against vaccines and for finding a 'cure' for autism;[3] his methods and advocacy are extremely controversial within the autism community.[4] He was a recipient of the Doug Flutie Jr. Award—given in honor of Doug Flutie Jr., the son of New England Patriot, Doug Flutie—who has autism. The award is presented annually "to a person who is devoted to research and treatment for individuals on the autism spectrum".[5]
