Leo Liu is a US based Chinese author, speaker and community organizer.[1] He is the author of the book A World Split in Two: Generational Division.[2] He is currently the lead organizer of TEDxYouth@ElliotStreet, Inc., a Newton-based 501c(3) nonprofit organization, and also a public TEDxYouth event.[3]
Liu is also the owner and director of the Super Meteors, an Amateur Athletic Union certified Basketball Club.[4]
Life and career[edit]
Liu was born in Harbin, China. He migrated to Hong Kong with his family when he was 5 years old. At the age of 12, Liu traveled to the United States with his family where he was selected to speak at TEDxEustis in January 2022.[3] He was the youngest speaker the organization had ever featured at the event.[3]
In February 2022, Liu started the AAU Basketball club Super Meteors. In summer of 2022, Liu published his first book, A World Split in Two: Generational Division.[5][6] Also in early 2022, Liu Xiang founded Educate the Globe, a podcast that mainly discusses various aspects of education.[7]
