Leslie Petersen is the former chairwoman of the Wyoming Democratic Party and her party's nominee for Governor of Wyoming in the 2010 election. She won the August 17, 2010 primary with approximately 48% of the vote.[1]
Petersen is a former Teton County Commissioner, a former member of the Wyoming Water Development Commission, and a former legislative liaison for Governor Edgar J. Herschler.
