Lesser Known Monsters is the title of an adult fantasy novel written by Rory Michaelson. Independently published in October 2020, the story follows Oscar Tundale, an awkward twenty-something who encounters a young girl in the hospital where he works. She claims one of Oscar's colleagues is the one who hurt her. This leads to Oscar and his friends Marcus and Zara embarking on an adventure to find out the truth, and unveiling a world of monsters that they never expected to find.
Lesser Known Monsters is the first book in a series of the same title. The series is a dark queer fantasy featuring diverse characters on a found family adventure and includes elements of horror and paranormal romance featuring LGBTQ+ heroes.
